Giraffe and a Half

Our Binder Park Zoo Trip is coming up.  This year we adopted two red panda babies.  Last year we adopted a baby giraffe.  Here are some creations from last year that I made for our animal adoption party for the giraffe.  I am going to try to work them in next week if possible.


Here are two books we used:

 

First there is an easy reader about what giraffes eat.  Click on the picture below to download.

Next, there was a mapping activity.  The students had to mark where we live and then where giraffes live on a world map. Click on the picture below to download.
