I have been wanting to make something like this for awhile. I was talking to a friend who is a literacy coach in another district about how to ramp up a few kids who still do not know all their letters. She mentioned an idea that she got from RTI about a simple grid with just a few letters repeated on it that the kids could practice several times a day. I found something I liked on prekinders.com with a snowman theme, but when I went back I couldn't find it. Since (hopefully) we will not be getting much more snow, I created something with a shamrock theme for March.
My plan is for my parapro to use this with a group who is not solid on their letters. They will do it once at the beginning of the session and once at the end. The group will work on one sheet for a week and then I will send it home for practice.

That's a neat idea, Sarah! I found your blog through the Kinderkorner listserv. :o) Have a great day!
